LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A teenage girl was killed Monday night after being struck by multiple vehicles on Cane Run Road, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Police say the incident occurred along Cane Run Road in southwest Louisville when the girl entered the roadway and was struck by passing vehicles. Emergency crews responded to the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Crash Happened on Busy Louisville Roadway
The crash occurred on Cane Run Road, a heavily traveled corridor that connects several neighborhoods in southwest Louisville. The area was temporarily closed as investigators processed the scene and collected evidence.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area while Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit conducted its investigation.
